Payphone/Telephone - Maroon 5/Lady Gaga (Sam Tsui Cover)

  • a Short Description
His name is Sam Tsui who is a singer.
This video uploaded 3 years ago.
At that time, Payphone which was sung by Maroon 5 was popular.
And I think that He thought Payphone and Telephone(Lady Gaga) mix well.
So He mixed music.

  • Why you find it interesting
I always listen to music whenever i don't do anything.
Because I like music.
Then one day, I turned Youtube as usual to watch some music stage.
At that time, I saw Sam Tsui's video.
When I watched his video,  I thought 'wow. He's amazing. I like his voice.'
Also, I thought his musical sense is good.
So Whenever he uploads videos, i watch his video.
Not only this, others are also good.
Until now , i go to Youtube and see his video like a habit. (Is like a habit right expression?)

Here is lyrics.

                                                              "Payphone / Telephone"

(originally by Maroon 5 / Lady Gaga)

I'm at a payphone trying to call home
(Hello hello baby, you called? I can't hear a thing)
All of my change I spent on you
(Cause I have got no service in this club, you say? say?)
Where have the times gone, baby it's all wrong
(Wha-wha-what did you say, huh? you're breakin' up on me)
Where are the plans we made for two?
(Sorry I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy)

I know it's hard to remember,

The people we used to be...
It's even harder to picture,
That you're not here next to me.
You say it's too late to make it,
But is it too late to try?
And in our time that you wasted
All of our bridges burned down

I've wasted my nights,

You turned out the lights
(Stop telephonin' me)
Now I'm paralyzed,
Still stuck in that time,
When we called it love,
(Stop telephonin' me)
But even the sun sets in paradise

I'm at a payphone trying to call home

(Stop callin', stop callin', I don't wanna think anymore)
All of my change I spent on you
(I left my head and my heat on the dancefloor)
Where have the times gone, (stop callin, stop callin')
Baby it's all wrong (I don't wanna talk anymore)
Where are the plans we made for two?
(I left my head and my heart on the dance floor)

If "Happy Ever After" did exist,

(Call all you want, but there's no one home, and you're not gonna reach my telephone)
I would still be holding you like this
(Out in the club, and I'm slipping that bubb, and you're not gonna reach my telephone)
All those fairy tales are full of it.
One more stupid love song, I'll be sick

Oh, you turned your back on tomorrow

'Cause you forgot yesterday.
I gave you my love to borrow,
But you just gave it away.

You can't expect me to be fine,

I don't expect you to care
I know I've said it before,
But all of our bridges burned down

I've wasted my nights,

(Stop telephonin' me)
You turned out the lights
Now I'm paralyzed,
Still stuck in that time,
When we called it love,
(Stop telephonin' me)
But even the sun sets in paradise

I'm at a payphone (stop callin' stop callin')

Trying to call home (I don't wanna talk anymore)
All of my change I spent on you
(I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor)
Where have the times gone (stop callin' stop callin')
Baby it's all wrong (I don't wanna think anymore)
Where are the plans we made for two?
(I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor)

If "Happy Ever After" did exist,

(Call all you want, but there's no one home, and you're not gonna reach my telephone)
I would still be holding you like this
(Out in the club, and I'm slipping that bubb, and you're not gonna reach my telephone)
All those fairy tales are full of it.
One more stupid love song, I'll be sick

Now I'm at a payphone

It's not that I don't like you
I'm just at a party
And I am sick and tired of my phone r-ringing

Sometimes I feel like I live in grand central station

Tonight I'm not takin' no calls
'Cause I'll be dancin', dancin'

Hey I just met you, and this is crazy

But here's my number, so call me maybe
It's hard to look right, at you baby
But here's my number.

And I'm at a payphone

(Stop callin, stop callin')
Trying to call home
(I don't wanna think anymore)
All of my chance I spent on you
(I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor)
Where have the times gone
(Stop callin', stop callin')
It's hard to look right,
At you baby,
(I left my head and my heart on the dance floor)
But here's my number.

If "Happy Ever After" did exist,

(Before you came into my life I missed you so bad)
I would still be holding you like this
(Before you came into my life I missed you so so bad)
But all those fairy tales are full of it
Another stupid love song, I'll be sick

I'm at a payphone trying to call home

All of my change I spent on you
Where have the times gone, baby it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two?

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor

kinda->a shortend word of "kind of"

happy ever after -> From happily ever after
(idiomatic, often preceded by "to live") happily until one's death (typically                                   .                            used in fairy tales)
And they lived happily ever after.

our bridges burned down -> Our relationship was separated.
